Tad received a B.S. from UC Berkeley in 2007 for Environmental Economics and Policy Management. Before becoming a full-time professional SAT tutor and mentor for college bound students, Tad worked at financial software company Advent in San Francisco as a Senior Client Support Representative. During his time there, Tad had the opportunity to equip international employees of the company by leading training classes.
Tad also has experience teaching academic subjects at Chinese Christian School in Alameda. When he's not busy tutoring, Tad enjoys gardening, playing Starcraft, and eating cheese.
Jennifer attended UC Berkeley as a Regents and Chancellor's Scholar where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Molecular Cell Biology and Chinese. She then continued her graduate studies in Optometry at UC Berkeley, where she graduated as a Doctor of Optometry in 2013. She has tutored many San Francisco Bay Area students over the years in addition to teaching English classes through Oakland Chinatown's CPC summer program.
As a resident assistant in the UC Berkeley International House dorms, she also had the privilege of mentoring and counseling both undergraduate and graduate students through academic, career and personal challenges. Jennifer enjoys walking, learning new facts about eyes (see dog above), and cooking.
